DTSG Urges Mechanic Village Developers To Provide Electricity, Others

BY FAITH NWANOKWAI/ GIFT NNAJI

THE Senior Special Assistant to Delta State Governor on Informal Sector Management, Chief Ifeanyi Abanum, has charged developers of the mechanic village in Asaba to fulfill their agreement with the state government.

Abanum gave the charge during the weekly sanitation at the Ultra-Modern Mechanic Village in Asaba.

He urged them to keep to provide electricity, drainage and union hall for the occupants as promised.

He said their inability to do so has posed a great challenge to their businesses.

Speaking on the need for hygiene in the mechanic village, he urged all to ensure that the environment is maintained at all times.

Abanum promised that he and other occupants of the mechanic village will promote the agenda of the governor by ensuring that the facility given to them by the government was conducive enough to attract patronage.
