THE Managing Director, Delta Printing and Publishing Corporation (DPPC), Mrs. Rosemary Nwaebuni, has commended her predecessors for their invaluable contributions to the growth and development of the corporation, describing their efforts as the solid foundation upon which the current administration is building.
Mrs Nwaebuni gave the commendation while welcoming former General Managers and senior stakeholders to a brief interactive meeting held alongside the corporation’s Christian Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols.
Expressing delight at the gathering, she described the occasion as an opportunity to appreciate her “bosses and mentors” for their numerous contributions at different times while piloting the affairs of the corporation. According to her, the developmental strides recorded by past administrations have made the task of leadership less difficult for the present management.
She noted that the event was particularly remarkable as it coincided with three significant milestones, the DPPC’s Christian Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols, her birth anniversary, and the marking of 18 months since she assumed office as General Manager.
Reflecting on her time in office, Mrs. Nwaebuni said the past months had been eventful; adding that the prayers, advice and support received from her predecessors had been instrumental in helping her move the organisation to a higher level.
She appealed to them not to relent in their supportive roles, especially in offering valuable counsel whenever the need arises, stressing that their guidance remains crucial to the continued progress of the corporation.
While reaffirming her commitment to the growth of DPPC, the General Manager stated that she had resolved not to allow distractions or the activities of detractors to derail the vision of the current leadership.
Mrs Nwaebuni wished all a merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year in advance.
