THE Head of Service of Delta State, Dr. (Mrs.) Mininim Oseji, has emphasized that the Inter- Cadre Transfer Policy promotes excellence, merit and innovation, providing opportunities for career advancement and professional development.
Oseji congratulated participants of the 8th Edition of the Inter-Cadre Transfer Training Program/Aptitude Test for their bid to advance their careers.
She commended their dedication and hardwork, recognizing their passion for service and career growth and urged participants to actively engage in the training, refining their skills and fortifying their resolve to realize their potential and fulfill their dreams.
The Head of Service thanked Governor Oborevwori for supporting the event and the State Civil Service Commission for their partnership.
In his address, the Permanent Secretary, Office of the Head of Service, Mr. Wilson Chukwuka, applauded participants in the training programme, thanking Governor Oborevwori for implementing the transfer policy to bridge personnel gaps.
The programme, according to him, was aimed at equipping public servants with skills for career advancement into Officers’ and Assistant Cadres.
The six-day programme included lectures and exams in 10 courses, followed by oral interviews and credential screening to assess suitability.
Chukwuka advised participants to be diligent and studious, noting that the exams was to evaluate their readiness for higher cadres.
