The Managing director and Chief Executive Officer of Evomec Global Services Ltd, High Chief Peter Onajite Esievo has been honoured with the Most Valuable Philanthropist Award for 2025 by the Isioghene Compassionate Foundation (a charity foundation).
The award is in recognition of his generosity and continuous support for the less privileged, aged, students and all his selfless service to humanity,
The MVP award was presented to him at his country home in Oviorie-Ovu, Ethiope-East Local Government Area of Delta State in the presence of friends, family members, and community leaders who gathered to celebrate him for his outstanding contributions to humanity,
Speaking with newsmen, the Foundation’s Director General, Patrick A. E, said the award was a testament of his various kindness, generosity and selfless services, describing him as a man whose compassion continued to bring hope and unity to his people and beyond,
He said, High Chief Peter Onajite Esievo was chosen for the prestigious award because the foundation had keenly followed him through his very many sacrifices made to satisfy people out of his own magnanimity and advised him to continue the good work as God will surely reward and elevate him.
Speaking to newsmen after receiving the award, High Chief Esievo expressed gratitude to God for the grace to give back to the society, he reflected on his humble background, saying, “I grew up not even having anybody to give me a bottle of water, but when God decided to bless me, I realized that the purpose of his blessing is for me to serve humanity, So, even if I have little, I prefer to share it with those who do not have, especially during festive seasons and every other time,
“Chief Esievo, who is also known for his annual community football tournament, explained that the aim of the event is to foster unity among the people. “Football is a unifying factor, not only in Nigeria but all over the World,
He said: “I organize the annual tournament to bring the people of Agbon Kingdom and Delta State together so that we can see ourselves as one.”
He, therefore, thanked Isioghene Compassionate Foundation for finding him worthy for the prestigious award as he said the recognition serves as a source of inspiration and it will spur him to do more for the society at large,
The event was attended by members of The Isioghene Compassionate Foundation crew, the Esievo’s family and friends including Mohammed IBM, Mr Michael kevwe and others,
The climax of the event was the presentation of the Most Valuable Philanthropist Award to High Chief Peter Onajite Esievo, MD Evomec Global services Ltd.
