THE Asagba of Asaba, HRM Obi (Prof) Epiphany Azinge SAN, has named 20 distinguished sons and daughters of the Asaba Kingdom for the conferment of chieftaincy titles.
In a statement issued by the Palace and titled, ‘’Olinzele Ahaba Chieftaincy Title Nominations’’, the nominees would be conferred subject to the fulfilment of all requirements.
The statement added that the chieftaincy-nominees would go through screening and would only be conferred at the monarch’s pleasure anytime next year.
The list includes the member representing Aniocha/Oshimili Constituency in the National Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ngozi Okolie, and the member representing Oshimili South Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Bridget Anyafulu.
Others include the former lawmaker representing Oshimili South, Hon. Shedrack Rapu, Ogbueshi Obiora Nwanze, Ogbueshi Dili Biosah, Ogbueshi (Dr.) Jude Keshi, Ogbueshi Ephraim Okotcha, Ogbueshi Tony Ndah, and Ogbueshi Chike Ogeah.
Also making the list are Prof (Mrs) Etuna Mbah, Ogbueshi Godfrey Odogwu, Ogbueshi (Dr) Chris Ojeih, Ogbueshi Jaja Isichei, Ogbueshi (Dr) Harold Azinge, Ogbueshi Ken Odogwu, Mr Emma Odiaka, Ogbueshi (Dr) Ify Uraih, Ogbueshi Albert Adaba, Ogbueshi Adizua Eluaka and Ogbueshi Louis Edozien.
