The leadership of the Ughelli South United Forum (USUF) has lauded the remarkable performance of the Commissioner for Works (Highways & Urban Roads), Delta State, Hon. Reuben Rume Yakubu Izeze.
In a statement released and signed by its Chairman, Ambassador (Chief) Godwin Okporoko, who also serves as the Executive Assistant on Security Matters to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, the group commended Izeze for his dedication, commitment, and capacity in the discharge of his duties since assuming office in August 2023.
The Forum expressed appreciation to Governor Oborevwori for appointing Izeze as a member of the State Executive Council (SEC), describing the decision as a well-deserved recognition of competence and service.
According to the statement, the Oborevwori administration has embarked on numerous developmental projects across the state, ensuring that Deltans continue to enjoy the dividends of democracy.
“We are very proud of the impressive performance of Hon. Reuben Rume Yakubu Izeze, Commissioner for Works (Highways & Urban Roads). He is contributing positively to the realization of the Governor’s MORE Agenda,” the statement read.
The group further noted that Izeze has been a worthy representative of Ughelli South at the State Executive Council, demonstrating active leadership, efficiency, and constant oversight of ongoing projects throughout the state.
They also applauded him for his numerous empowerment initiatives, which have continued to positively impact lives both within Delta State and beyond.
