The Delta State Police Command has arraigned three men, Ebah Daniel (27), Saidu Mohammed (37), and Musa Melia (27) for allegedly stealing and receiving stolen properties. The suspects are currently facing a three-count charge before the Magistrate’s court, Asaba, within the Asaba Magisterial District.
According to the charge sheet No CMA/309C/2025, “That Ebah Daniel, Saidu Mohammed and Musa Melia and others now at large on July 27, 2025 at Asaba, within the Asaba Magisterial District did conspire among yourselves to commit felony to wit stealing and receiving stolen properties and thereby committed an offence punishable under section 516 of the criminal code cap C21 Vol 1 law of Delta State of Nigeria 2006.
The second charge states that “You Ebah Daniel on the same date and place within the aforementioned Magistraterial District did steal iron condemn chairs valued at N33,000, entrusted in your custody for security, properties of living faith church and thereby committed an offence punishable under section 390(8)(b) of the criminal code cap C21 Vol 1 laws of Delta State of Nigeria 2006.
Charge three in the charge sheet reads “That you Saidu Mohammed, Musa Melia and others now at large on the same date and place within the aforementioned Magistraterial District did receive stolen iron condemn chairs valued N33,000 from one Ebah knowing same to have been stolen, properties of living faith church and thereby committed an offence punishable under section 427 of the criminal code cap 21 Vol 1 law of Delta State of Nigeria 2006
The suspects are remanded pending further court proceedings.
