DELTA State Government has said that the promotion examination otherwise known as the third term examination for all public secondary schools in the state will commence today.
A statement issued by the state Commissioner for Secondary Education, Mrs. Rose Ezewu, said the examination would end on Friday, July 25.
According to her, the examination would be conducted simultaneously across the state from 9:00 am prompt, adding that the students should be in their various schools as early as possible to take the examination.
She implored the students to be prepared for the promotion examination and take it serious, noting that whoever fails would not be promoted to the next class but would repeat their classes.
The commissioner also enjoined teachers in the state to redouble their commitment to duty , assuring them of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s commitment to their welfare and determination to drive the education system to greater heights in line with the M.O.R.E Agenda of his administration.
