The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) U3 Media Ambassadors has been inaugurated at the PDP Secretariat in Otor-Udu, Udu Local Government Area of Delta State.
The event brought together PDP faithfuls, media teams, and other stakeholders.
Speaking during the inauguration ceremony, a PDP chieftain, Chief James Shaguolo, urged the Media Ambassadors to engage in constructive criticism that would positively impact the lives of the people.
Also speaking, the Acting Chairman of PDP in Udu, Comrade Kenairu Johnbull, welcomed participants and appreciated the convener, Hon. Olotu Akpodiete, for the initiative.
In his remarks, the Convener and former House of Representatives aspirant, Hon Olotu Akpodi eye, charged the Media Ambassadors to be a watchdogs for the masses.
He advised them to desist from fake news reportage, promote the party’s image and activities, and motivate the government to implement people-friendly policies.
The Chairman of the U3 Media Ambassadors, Amb.Comrade Kphoraror Emmanuel, appreciated Hon. Dr. Olotu Akpodiete for the initiative and empowerment. He promised that his team would work to promote the party and the interests of the people within the federal constituency.
Among the executives are Mr. John Adafan (Vice Chairman); Comrade Temple Eteyeta (Secretary); Chief. Friday Hitler (Coordinator, Ughelli South); Chief. Ufuoma Osume (Coordinator, Ughelli North): Hon. Matthew Salami (Coordinator, Udu); Mrs Eunice Alu Jawhono (Publicity Secretary); Coach Tuedor Charles (Director of Communication); Ms Whitney Oyubu (Content Manager), and Ms Ese Oghenemuroko (Media Relations Officer).
The event was attended by notable PDP members, including Acting PDP Chairmen of Ughelli North and South, Hon. Daniel Emaye, Olorogun Godwin Akpokemerha, respectively, Evang John Awhin, Chief Dennis Obodje, Mr. Fidelis Ofuogo, and Mrs. Ufuoma Omoru.
