Oborevwori‘ll Spring More Surprises —Oghenesivbe

THE Director-General of the Delta State Bureau for Communications, Dr Fred Oghenesivbe, has stated that the next two years will bring pleasant surprises in terms of increased infrastructure development and socioeconomic transformation in the state.

He gave the assurance while speaking as a guest on the radio, and monitored in Asaba, the state capital.

Oghenesivbe assured that the burning desire of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori to deliver the best in infrastructure development and social investments cannot be extinguished by any form of distraction.

The Bureau Chief noted that Deltans are excited about the governor’s remarkable achievements, pointing out that the massive development that had taken place in the past two years shall be tripled in the next two years.

He said Governor Oborevwori’s vision is to advance Delta beyond 2027, adding that the governor remains a grassroots-oriented leader with incredible street credibility.

Oghenesivbe pointed out that the multi-billion naira structural remodelling, redesigning and reconstruction of the Warri Township Stadium into a world class sports facility, as well as the Mega flyover at Agbor in Ika South, and Otowodo in Ughelli North Local Government Areas, and other infrastructure projects awarded recently, should be regarded as a tip of the iceberg, compared to what Governor Oborevwori would continue to do across the three Senatorial districts before and after the 2027 elections.

The State Bureau of Communications Director General further asserted that the governor is in firm control of the State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), while appealing to party faithful across the state to embrace themselves without being tagged as either “old or new” APC members.

He congratulated Governor Oborevwori on his recent recognition as the Best Governor in the South-South region of Nigeria, a declaration by the organisers of the National Digital Summit, which took place recently at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

He said Deltans are very proud of the good governance strides of Governor Oborevwori, while wishing him greater accomplishments as he consistently aims higher at positioning Delta in the fast lane of infrastructure development, economic growth, and more prosperity for all Deltans.
