The appointment of Olorogun Ese Kakor as the Director-General of the Delta State Local Content Board has drawn praises from community leaders, including Chief Onos Gasper Ighwre, the Ohwojero of Ughievwen Kingdom.
Chief Ighwre, in a formal statement, commended both the Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori and the State Assembly for the selection, describing Kakor as a seasoned professional whose expertise aligned with the state’s goals for inclusive development.
“The Local Content Board is not just an administrative body, it is the engine for ensuring that our people, our businesses, and our professionals directly benefit from the economic opportunities within Delta State, especially in pivotal sectors like oil, gas, and infrastructure,” Ighwre stated.
