NAAOS To Inaugurate BOT Chair, Distribute Educational Materials In Delta

The National Association of Aniocha/Oshimili Students (NAAOS) Worldwide is set to host a landmark event to officially inaugurate its newly constituted Board of Trustees (BOT), with Chief Josephine Kachikwu as Chairperson and Mr Paul Adingwupu as Vice Chairman.

The event, scheduled for Thursday, June 26, 2025 at 11:00am, will be held at the New Hall, Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi-Uku, Delta State and will also attract more than 900 youths and students.

As part of the ceremony, 2,000 notebooks and other essential writing materials will be distributed to schools across the Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency, underscoring the association’s commitment to educational support and grassroots development.

Themed “State of Security in Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency”, the event aims to foster critical dialogue around the region’s security concerns and the proactive role youth-led organisations can play in driving sustainable solutions.

The gathering will attract a diverse range of stakeholders including political, community leaders, educational policymakers and youth advocates from across the constituency.

The ceremony will be graced by the Obi of Ogwashi-Uku, His Royal Majesty Obi Ifechukwude Okonjo, the Member representing Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency, the Chief Host, Hon. Jude Chukwunweike, while Dame Mrs Edith Okowa is Guest of Honour.

Other high-profile guests expected at the event include the Chairmen of Oshimili South, Oshimili North, and Aniocha North Local Government Areas, Hon. Obi Kelvin Ezenyili, Hon. Innocent Esewezie, and Hon. Emma Chinye, respectively.

The investiture and education outreach reflect NAAOS’s broader mission to empower students, promote security awareness, and strengthen collaboration among local institutions and youth organisations.
