The Chairman of Aniocha North Local Government Area, Hon. Emma Chinye, has commended the Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, for his numerous developmental projects in the area.

Some of the projects include the nearly completed Issele-Asagba-Otulu Road, the almost completed 3 kilometres of internal and township roads in Onicha-Ugbo, the ongoing High Court building in Issele-Uku, and the provision of a brand new coastal bus for the College of Nursing Sciences, Onicha-Uku.

Chinye, who gave the commendation during the commissioning of the CBT/ICT centre in Onicha-Olona, appreciated the various empowerment and human capital development programs that have benefited the people in Aniocha North, while assuring the governor of their continued loyalty and support to his administration. On behalf of the government and the good people of Aniocha North, the local government chairman expressed their deepest gratitude to Governor Oborevwori for choosing Aniocha North to host this vital CBT/ICT project, which, no doubt, will be of immense benefit to the entire State.

The Aniocha North Local Government Chairman disclosed that Onicha-Olona ICT/CBT Centre is a testament to their beloved Governor’s commitment to bridging the digital divide and empowering the youths with the skills they needed to succeed in the present digital world.

He mentioned that this project is a game-changer for the State, providing access to modern information and communication technologies, digital literacy, and computer-based skills essential for success in the 21st century.

Chinye further said that it gladdens his heart to know that ‘’the centre will serve as a hub for online learning and examinations, opening up new opportunities for our youths in the State to acquire knowledge and skills that will enhance their employability and entrepreneurial prospects.’’

He assured Governor Oborevwori that the people of Aniocha North are committed to protecting and utilising this facility to its full potential.
