The Isoko Royal Lions Club, Zone 9B, Region 9, District 404 A4- Nigeria has received three Awards/Trophies in the 4th District Cabinet Meeting held in Asaba, recently.
The club picked three out of the four trophies from the event.
While receiving the awards oh behalf of the club, the Chartered President, Lion Mrs Oweh Princess Oghale, thanked her fellow club members for the support accorded her in making the award become a reality.
Speaking further, Ln Oweh, who expressed gratitude to some notable Isoko personalities such as the Delta State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Joseph Onojaeme, the Chairman, Delta State Hospital Management Board, Dr Paul Oweh, member representing Isoko North and South Federal Constituency, Engr. Pst. Jonathan Ajirioghene Ukodhiko, and others, said: “these awards are as a result of the selfless effort and dedication of these admirable men in Isoko land who do not only have passion to serve humanity, but have also distinguished themselves in both sevice and character.
She averred that the personalities had strived to make lives better for the less privileged, as they contributed to the achievement of the earned awards.
Trophies won by the club include Outstanding Club Trophy; Outstanding Club Project Trophy, and Overall Best Club in the District Trophy.
