THE newly posted Head of Personnel Management (HPM), for Ika South Local Government, Mr. Bertrand Ojeh, has officially resumed duty at the Local Government Secretariat, Agbor.
Mr. Ojeh was received on arrival by the staff of Ika South Local Government led by the Secretary, Mr. Kainji Aluge Obia, who took him round the different offices at the secretariat.
Speaking shortly after the brief familiarization tour, Mr. Ojeh, assured of his readiness to work closely with the local government Chairman, Engr. Jerry Ehiwarior.
He requested the support of all local government staff, adding that their commitment to duty would go a long way in service delivery to the people of the local government area.
He promised to ensure a good working synergy between the civil servants and the political class for a seamless service delivery. According to him, such will promote peaceful labour relations with the administration.
Mr. Ojeh, who was visibly elated with the warm reception accorded him by staff of the local government, expressed the hope that he would get the necessary support from all and sundry, adding that, “all hands must be on deck to ensure that our dynamic chairman continues to deliver on his campaign promises to the people of Ika South Local Government Area.”
Mr. Bertrand Ojeh, in company of the SLG, Mr. Kainji Aluge Obia, later visited the Vice Chairman of Ika South Local Government, Mrs Glory Amamosa Onyeagbor, in her office, where they were warmly received by the Vice Chairman, who assured the new HPM of cordial working relationship.
