THE Delta State Commissioner for Secondary Education, Mrs. Rose Ezewu, has described the ongoing Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) as smooth and orderly.
Mrs. Ezewu made the remarks while monitoring the conduct of the examination across various secondary schools in the state.
According to her, the examination process has been well organized, with students, teachers, and administrators adhering to set guidelines and ensuring a conducive environment for the exams.
The Commissioner commended the efforts of school authorities and education stakeholders for their commitment to upholding standards, emphasizing the state government’s continued investment in quality education and effective supervision.
She further assured the public that the Ministry of Secondary Education will remain vigilant throughout the examination period to maintain transparency and credibility.
Speaking with The Pointer, the examination supervisor at the Master Care Secondary School Asaba, Mrs. Faithful Uloho described the examination process as smooth. Adding that the students are cooperating with the invigilators.
Some of the schools visited are; Oruchi Secondary School, Okpanam, Okpanam High School, Unity High School, Master Care Secondary School, West End Mixed Secondary School , AGGS, Ikwewu Secondary School, Oha Secondary School Oha, and Agbarho Grammar School Agbarho.
