The monarch of Ewu-Urhobo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty Clement Ikolo, has expressed gratitude to the Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori for his generous donation of a brand new Toyota Cruiser Prado Vehicle in support of the effective discharge of his kingly duties and responsibilities.
In a statement released to The Pointer, HRM Ikolo said, “This thoughtful gesture is not only a mark of His Excellency’s goodwill and confidence in the traditional institute, but also a practical contribution to the security, stability and development of the communities.
“This vehicle will significantly enhance my mobility and capacity to respond swiftly to matters of concern, particularly in the collective effort to combat insecurity, promote peace and safeguard lives and property within my kingdom.”
He expressed appreciation of how this support aligns with and strengthens the realisation of the government’s MORE agenda, noticeably in the area of security, grassroots engagement and inclusive governance. He stressed the fact that this reinforces the vital partnership between the state government and traditional rulers as critical stakeholders in community development and social cohesion.
Furthermore, he expressed gratitude on behalf of the people of the kingdom, thanking His Excellency for his visionary leadership, generousity and continued commitment to the welfare of Delta State and its people.
