SENIOR Special Assistant to Delta State Governor Oborevwori and newly appointed Assistant Chief Commissioner of Scout Nigeria, Amb. Chinedu Mayor Enujeko, has commended that State Governor, Rt .Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, for approving the construction of the strategic Umuordi–Abuedo Road in Ubulu-Uno, alongside other important road projects across Aniocha South Local Government Area.
In a statement made available to journalists, Enujeko described the governor’s decision as a major milestone in the on-going infrastructural transformation of rural communities within the local government area.
According to him, the Umuordi–Abuedo road has long been a critical route for residents, farmers, traders, and commuters whom he said, rely on the road to connect different quarters and neighbouring communities.
He noted that the approval of the project will significantly improve accessibility, ease the movement of agricultural produce to markets, reduce transportation difficulties faced by residents, and stimulate economic growth in Ubulu-Uno and surrounding communities.
He further emphasized that good road infrastructure remains a key driver of development and social integration.
Ambassador Enujeko also commended the Delta State House of Assembly for their remarkable role in ensuring that the swift approval process for the road projects progressed smoothly. He acknowledged High Chief Chris Ashimeduanim, the Onishei of Ubulu-Uno Kimgdom for his commitment to supporting policies and initiatives that directly impact the welfare and development of Ubulu-Uno Kimgdom as the architect of modern Ubulu-Uno Kingdom.
He stated that the collaboration between the executive arm of government and the state legislature demonstrates a shared vision for sustainable development in Delta State, adding that such synergy is essential for delivering meaningful dividends of democracy to the people.
Enujeko further called on residents of Aniocha South Local Government Area to continue supporting the present administration of Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, noting that the governor’s development agenda is already yielding tangible results in many parts of the state.
