Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to partnering with the Nigerian Correctional Services (NCoS) to enhance effective service delivery.
Governor Oborevwori stated this, yesterday, in Asaba while presenting a Certificate of Occupancy (C of O) to the Nigerian Correctional Services, Delta State Command for a parcel of land.
The governor, who was represented by his Deputy, Sir Monday Onyeme said the presentation of the Certificate of Occupancy to the Service followed a request made by the command.
Governor Oborevwori said his administration had magnanimously approved the land requested by the Nigerian Correctional Services, Delta State Command by issuing a C of O to enable the command embark on its desired project.
He promised to continue to support the Nigerian Correctional Service like other security agencies in the State.
Responding, the Controller of Corrections, Delta State Command, Mr Raymond Nwagu thanked the state governor for his approval and for the presentation of a certificate of occupancy.
He expressed joy that the state government had graciously approved the command’s request for a parcel of land during his tenure.
Mr. Nwagu pledged the command’s readiness to continue to partner with the state government.
The highlight was the presentation of the Certificate of Occupancy to the Comproller of Corrections, Delta State Command.
