OLOMORO community in Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta state has commemorated their annual event with fasting and fervent prayers to divinely consolidate a stronger bond of unity among indigenes and continued peace.
The colourful occasion, which was recently held at the primary school playground, was tagged, “Moving forward” and was grandly celebrated as gospel artist rented the atmosphere with sonorous and melodious tunes, engaging the large crowd in an uninterrupted hours of praises to God Almighty.
The organizers noted that the gathering, comprising of community indigenes, traditional stakeholders, religious leaders, youth groups and concerned residents as a solemn and spiritual uplifting dedicated to seek divine guidance, peace and progress for the community and its people.
“It also served as a moment of collective reflection intertwine with intercession and commitment to shared values that bind the community together, sustaining the culture of spiritual consciousness and moral responsibility”.
