THE Parish Priest of St James Catholic Church, Asaba, Rev. Fr. Gabriel Azuh has called on Christians to always listen to the voice of God just like Mary did unlike Martha, who was so distracted from listening to Jesus.
The cleric stated that when Christians fail to listen to God, they are likely to miss their blessings emphasizing that Abraham paid attention to God by rendering help to the strangers who visited his tent
According to him, listening is not only when you pray. God speaks to man always, noting that Christians are too busy with unnecessary things which does not really matter and called on Christians to put God first in whatever they do.
Fr. Azuh urged the people to have the mind of giving, adding that givers never lack for in giving one receive, even in the midst of hardship, noting that the situation of the country do not have to be an excuse not to help and show them love. He advised Christians not to relent in waiting on God or afraid to assist others, and admonished them to seek direction from God who is ever faithful and willing to listen to them.
