THE Diocese of Western Izon, Ecclesiastical Province of Bendel, Church of Nigeria in Patani town, has honoured former Delta State Commissioner for Energy, Barrister Newworld Safugha, for impacting positively on the development of society and growth of the church in the country.
According to the Church, “your positive impact in the church, the society has been exceptional and genuine to the church” we are confident your consistent record of excellence will continue in the years ahead, we know that this award will propel you to do more for society and the church”.
Safugha, who was represented during the presentation of the award by Hon David Adausi, thanked God for the recognition and congratulated other awardees.
According to him “I sincerely thank God for providing me the opportunity to support the body of Christ and humanity. I also appreciate the Diocese of Western Izon for recognising my humble service and taking steps further to give me an award that will spur me to doing more by the grace of God”.
Finally, I urge the body of Christ to continually pray for Governor Sheriff Oborevwori to enable him deliver his enviable MORE Agenda to Deltans.
