THE Executive Director, Project on the board of Delta State Oil Producing Area Development Commission (DESOPADEC), Chief Ebenezer Okorodudu, yesterday was given an award by the God’s Fountain of Life Bible Church, Oleh, in Isoko South.
The award, according to a statement by the General Overseer of the Church, Bishop Sam Oyede, was bestowed on Chief Okorodudu because of his contribution to the society and the body of Christ.
The statement read in part, “ Having observed your way of life and the role you have played in the Christian community and the society in making life better for humanity, the Church, (GOD’S FOUNTAIN OF LIFE BIBLE MISSION), thought it wise to say thank you for your contribution towards the Society and the body of Christ by choosing you for this meritorious award.”
Bishop Oyede, further said that the award was to prove to Chief Okorodudu that the Church appreciates all that God has been using him to do in the life of humanity at large and the Church in particular.
He prayed for God’s blessings on him and his family.
Chief Okorodudu, who was represented at the occasion by the Head of Utility, Directorate of Project, DESOPADEC, F Ifowodo, while commending the Church for the award, promised to continue to contribute to the betterment of the society.
