A former House of Representatives aspirant for Ughelli North, South and Udu Federal Constituency, Hon. Dr. Olotu Akpodiete has expressed confidence that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will achieve all expectations in 2027.
He made the remarks in a message during the inauguration of the executives of the PDP Caretaker Committee (CTC) of Ughelli North, South, and Udu Federal Constituency, just as he expressed confidence that the new executives will discharge their duties effectively and urged them to set up wards and units executives.
Dr. Akpodiete also urged them to solicit support for the party and encourage electorates to get their voters’ cards, emphasizing that it was the only weapon to exercise their franchise during the general elections.
Earlier, Prof. Sylvester Monye, represented by Chief Charles Ekiyor, commended the PDP U3 faithful for believing in the party, despite the current national situation.
Other leaders, including Hon. Chief George Osikorobia and Hon. Daniel Emaye, thanked everyone present, urging them to continue soliciting support and registering to vote.
On his part, Comr. Elder Johnbull Kenairu thanked party faithful for attending the inaugural ceremony, reiterating that the party’s national crisis will soon be resolved.
The Ughelli South LGA Chairman of the party, Chief Godwin Akpokemera, promised to discharge their duties without fear or favor, assuring the party’s commitment to serving the people.
