The U3 Legislators Forum has been inaugurated at the Civic Center, Otu-Jeremi, Ughelli South Local Government Area, Delta State.
The event brought together the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) faithful, including former councilors, from Ughelli North, Ughelli South, and Udu local government areas, with determination to reclaim the Ughelli/Udu Federal Constituency.
The Acting PDP Chairman in Ughelli South, Olorogun Godwin Akpokemerha, assured members that PDP will reclaim its stolen mandate in 2027, while Comrade Kenairu Johnbull, Acting PDP Chairman of Udu, expressed confidence that PDP was growing stronger in the federal constituency.
Also speaking, the immediate past PDP Chairman of Ughelli North, Pst Kesiena Nomuoja, emphasized that PDP will produce sellable candidates to reclaim the federal constituency in 2027.
On his part, the Convener and former House of Representatives aspirant, Hon. Dr. Olotu Otemu Akpodiete appreciated the legislators for staying with the party despite defections and empowered them for their commitment and dedication.
He stated that the U3 Legislators Forum will strengthen and support the party structure to reclaim the federal constituency in 2027.
Hon. Patrick Bodosika, Chairman of U3 Legislators Forum, appreciated the convener and promised that the forum will work as a formidable team to win the 2027 elections. Other executives include Hon. Sunday Agwa (Vice Chairman); Hon. Stephen Ashemuke (Secretary), and Hon. Dennis Obodje (Publicity Secretary). Other members present were Hon. Daniel Emaye, Hon. Godwin Akpokemerha, Hon. Edafiamredje Emmanuel, and Hon. Emmanuel Okpotako.
