The senator representing Delta North Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Prince Ned Nwoko, has announced the commencement of the Senator Ned Nwoko Scholarship Programme at the Sports University of Nigeria, Idumuje-Ugboko.
The scholarship initiative is part of the senator’s ongoing commitment to education, youth empowerment, and human capital development in Anioma and beyond.
According to Sen Nwoko, this phase of the programme is targeted at 90 deserving students across the nine Local Government Areas of Delta North Senatorial District.
‘’Successful applicants will receive full educational support to study at the Sports University of Nigeria — an institution uniquely designed to integrate academics, sports, and innovation.
Sen Nwoko noted that education remains a vital tool for transformation and nation-building, adding that his focus is to give young people the opportunity to realise their full potential and contribute meaningfully to the development of society.
