THE people of Amachai Quarters, Okpanam in Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State have been urged to continue to live in peace and unity with one another as brothers and sisters at all times.
Diokpa-Isi of Amachai Quarters, Ogbueshi Patrick Obiora Okeleke made the call at his residence in Okpanam during his Alor title taking ceremony.
Ogbueshi Okeleke , who described his alor title as a welcome development and a dream come through, reminded the good people of Amachai and Okpanam community in general that no meaningful development could thrive in an atmosphere of rancour and unnecessary disunity with one another.
While appreciating the people of Amachai and Okpanam at large for their unwavering support, Ogbueshi Okeleke solicited the sustenance of their cooperation.
He promised to operate an open door policy and carry his subjects along in the scheme of things and discharge his responsibilities as the oldest man in the quarter with utmost commitment and fear of God and in accordance with the culture and traditions of Okpanam community.
