AN Award of Exceptional and Outstanding Leadership Performance has been conferred on the Chairman of Isoko North Local Government of Delta state, Elder Godwin Ogorugba by the Presiding Bishop, Fountain of Life Mission Int’l, Dr Samuel Oyede.
He highlighted some of the chairman’s visionary innovations and performance since his inception to include the construction of an administrative complex, the perimeter fencing of the council Secretariat with a modern security gate, rehabilitation of Etevie community road, Ozoro, rehabilitation of Otor-Iyede road, renovation of 65 open stores at Otor-Owhe community market and renovation of Otor-Igho community town hall., among others
He stated that Hon Ogorugba’s leadership had immeasurably impacted the people of Isoko North and beyond, including the body of Christ, adding that his unwavering commitment to infrastructural development and prudent resources management in consolidating the Renewed Hope for More Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Governor of Delta state, Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori cannot be underestimated.
“Besides, as an elder in Living Faith Church( Winner Chapel), you have distinguish yourself and make the body of Christ proud, indeed, when the righteous is on the throne, the people rejoices”.
The council boss thanked the Bishop and his wife for the award conferred on him from the body of Christ, noting that the award will inspire him to do more for the electorate who voted him to power.
He emphasized that in the things of God, there is no competition but God’s divine grace, knowing that this is the only place where people can sow and reap bountifully in all ramifications of life
He further expressed his appreciation on behalf of the governor to the Bishop for the crucial role he played during the 2023 general elections, pledging that, they will continue to hold him in high esteem.
The event, which was held at Oleh, Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State was attended by the Supervisor for Environment, Comrade Joshua Alebe, Comrade Oreva Ogorugba, Comrade. Erero Oloku, Special Adviser to the Chairman, Jude Ogwologho, Director of Protocol and the Special Assistant to the Chairman on Religion Matters, Pastor Eddy Kome, among others.
