Atalanta are holding firm on their asking price for Nigeria winger, Ademola Lookman, and are unwilling to budge from their valuation of between €50m and €60m, according to reports from Tuttomercato.
The Bergamo club are open to selling the 27-year-old this summer, but are adamant that they will not do a deal for less than the stated price. Lookman, who has one year left on his contract with Atalanta, has been linked with a number of top European clubs, including Premier League giants Arsenal, who have reportedly revived their interest in the player.
Other Italian giants, Napoli and Juventus, are also said to be interested in securing Lookman’s services. Last season, the winger recorded an impressive 15 goals and five assists in 31 league appearances for Atalanta.
With his contract set to expire in a year’s time, Atalanta are likely looking to cash in on Lookman’s value while they still can. It remains to be seen whether any of the interested clubs will be willing to meet the Italian club’s asking price.
