Meanwhile, reports had it that Fatima Dzuma, a resident of Lafiyagi Dzwafu village in Niger State’s Katcha Local Government Area, allegedly killed her husband, Baba, in a chilling act that stunned the community.
According to a local resident, Baba married Dzuma three years earlier after her divorce from her first husband. Dzuma had no children with Baba, although she had one child from her previous marriage. Meanwhile, Baba’s first wife had recently given birth, with preparations for the naming ceremony underway. Dzuma reportedly confessed, saying she killed her husband because she “no longer liked him.”
She allegedly strangled him with a scarf and struck him twice on the head and once on the hand with a pestle while he was asleep, breaking his hand.
