OVER 1,000 persons in Ward 9, Ndokwa East Local Government Area, and neighbouring communities have been provided with food items and cash grants by the Kenneth Okanoro Foundation.
The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Delta State on Youth Development, and Chairman of the Kenneth Okanoro Foundation, Comrade Kenneth Okanoro distributed food items and cash grants to young men and women during the opening of his house in Onogbokor Community, Ndokwa East Local Government Area, Delta State.
Okanoro also launched the foundation’s Sowing Seeds of Hope Initiative in Ward 9, Ndokwa East Local Government Area, noting that the programme aligned with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Initiative and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s Renewed Hope for MORE Agenda.
He noted that the distribution of food items and cash grants to over 1,000 individuals from Ward 9 and neighbouring communities was part of efforts to consolidate Governor Oborevwori’s achievements in breaking new ground and creating fresh pathways for the socio-economic advancement of all Deltans.
Comrade Okanoro thanked the people for their support, unity, and commitment to the community’s peace and progress over the years, assuring them that even greater development liesd ahead as he reaffirmed his continued commitment to their welfare.
The Chairman of the foundation expressed appreciation to the Delta State Deputy Governor, Sir Monday Onyeme, Chief Godswill Obielum, Hon. Prince Emeka Osamuta and other leaders for their support and encouragement. While thanking the state government for approving key projects, including the emergency construction of the Ibrede-Onogbokor road through the NDDC, which, according to him, will significantly benefit the area, he urged the community to continue their support for President Bola Tinubu, Governor Oborevwori, and their representatives in government.
In a remark, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Political Matters and a leader in Ward 9, Hon. Jerry Iliromah expressed gratitude to Comrade Okanoro on behalf of the community and pledged unwavering support to his foundation and political aspirations in return.
Mr Fidelis Akpeme, Mrs. Oghale Vote, and other beneficiaries expressed appreciation to Comrade Okanoro and his foundation for the kind gesture.
They noted that the gesture had brought immense joy and relief to them, adding that his dedication and commitment to improving the lives and welfare of his people was noble and encouraging.
