Asaba, Delta State – The International President of the Renaissance College of Bishops, His Grace, Archbishop Victor Arikoro, JP, has called on Christians to uphold integrity in life and ministry, stressing that the world must see the character of Jesus reflected in believers.
Archbishop Arikoro made the call during a meeting of the Renaissance College of Bishops held at the headquarters of the House of Gladtidings Mission International, Asaba.
He emphasised that Christians must let the light of God shine through them in all situations, urging clergy and believers alike to remain steadfast in their faith. “Jesus is the hope of Nigerians and the world at large,” he said.
Also speaking, the Adviser of the Renaissance College of Bishops, His Eminence, Primate Dr. Moses Ogbodogbo, commended the Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, for the developmental strides recorded under his administration. He described the governor as the kind of visionary leader the state has long desired, and called on Deltans to support the “More Agenda” of the administration to move the state to greater heights.
The host of the meeting and Secretary General of the Renaissance College of Bishops, Bishop Dr. Prince Edugbo, who is also the General Overseer of House of Gladtidings Mission International, expressed gratitude to the attending clergymen who travelled from far and near. He prayed for God’s protection and journey mercies as they returned to their destinations.

Edugbo; Primate Dr. Moses Ogbodogbo; Archbishop Dr. Gideon Oghenegueke; Bishop Dr. Godwin Edherue; Bishop Dr. Moses Onos; Bishop Dr. Abel Ucho; Bishop Dr. Benjamin Ogunuku; Bishop Dr. Ezekiel Arikoro; Archbishop Elijah Likibe; Bishop Dr. Vincent Obarouje; Bishop Dr. Ben Egwebe, among others.
Following the meeting, a 12-man delegation of the Renaissance College of Bishops, led by Bishop Dr. Prince Edugbo and headed by Primate Dr. Ogbodogbo, paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Major General Paul Omu (rtd), who passed away in April.
The delegation was received by his widow, Senator Mrs. Stella Omu, at the family residence. The bishops offered words of comfort and prayed for God’s strength and grace upon her and the entire family during their time of mourning.
They described the late General Omu as a highly respected Nigerian military General and statesman who made significant contributions to the country’s political and military development.
