The comprehensive healthcare programme, scheduled to run from July 14 to 27, 2025, forms part of the council’s ongoing commitment to improving the well-being of its people, especially those in rural communities.

The flag-off ceremony was held at the Primary Health Centre, Akwukwu-Igbo, where immediate medical services were provided, including general consultations, minor and major surgical operations, eye and dental care, laboratory investigations, and the prescription of essential medications.
