The umbrella body of Ndokwa youths, Ikolobie Ndokwa, has passed a vote of confidence in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, his Deputy, Sir Monday Onyeme and the member representing the Ndokwa/Ukwuani Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Rt. Hon Nnamdi Ezechi.
The President-General of the organization, Comrade Fidelis Azaka, moved for the vote of confidence, which was seconded by a member of the Board of Trustees, Comrade Henry Emeli, to include other leaders like Chief Godswill Obielum, Sir Fidelis Okenmor Tilije, and all other elected and appointed sons and daughters of Ndokwa nation.
At its enlarged meeting, which took place in Umu-Uno Ossissa, the group, made up of youths of Ndokwa East, Ndokwa West and Ukwuani local government areas, expressed satisfaction with the excellent leadership qualities of the President, the Governor, his Deputy and Hon Ezechi, which earned them endorsement for the 2027 election.
In his remarks, Rt. Hon. Ezechi, who is the Chairman Board of Trustees (BOT), thanked Ndokwa youths for their peaceful and supportive dispositions and assured them of better days ahead of the entire Ndokwa nation.
He particularly expressed appreciation to the State Governor, Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff Oborevwori, for equitable spread of projects across the state, of which the Ndokwa nation is a beneficiary, describing the Deputy Governor, Sir Monday Onyeme, as a blessing to the Ndokwa nation and Delta North in general.
Hon Ezechi further described Sir Onyeme as a man who genuinely loved his people and had touched many lives through his Foundation over the years and urged the youths to continually support him.
Others who spoke included Dr. Kingsley Ashibogwu, Chief Chris Oputa, and the Ndokwa East APC Youth Leader, Comrade Mike Eso Dialor, who all spoke in support of the endorsement of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.
