THE All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ndokwa West Local Government Area, yesterday, endorsed President Bola Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for re-election as President and Governor, respectively, in 2027 election.
At a Unity Meeting of Elders/Leaders and Stakeholders of APC in Ndokwa West Local Government Area, presided by state Deputy Governor, Sir Monday Onyeme, at Ibabu in Ndokwa West Local Government Area of Delta State, it was resolved that the President and the Governor should be re-elected for good governance.
The Leader, Ndokwa West Local Government Legislative Arm, Hon. Ugo Anamali moved the endorsement of the President and the Governor, which was seconded by Hon. Ajuwa Wilfred, Councillor Ward 12, and was unanimously affirmed by all those who attended the meeting.
Ndokwa West APC Chairman, Chief Gregory Dike Onah said the unity was ordained by God, stressing that it would bring joy and understanding.
While expressing the need for all to work together, Onah assured support and victory of the party come 2027.
Speaking by all Wards in the Local Government Area, they underscored the need for unity and support for the Deputy Governor, Sir Monday Onyeme.
Also speaking, Managing Director, DESOPDEC, Chief Festus Ochonogor, Hon. Barr. Sam Osasa and Hon. Dan Ossai, urged every members to reach out to others, adding that it would make the party to grow.
They tasked every ward to meet regularly and create activities in order to foster unity among members.
Sir Onyeme commended the people for their massive turn out, maintaining that unity was very paramount.
According to him; “ we must be united and through it we will make meaningful progress”.
“Elected and appointed government officials should be of help to others in the party , service the party and it will grow.”
“It is good for our Local Government to show good example and trust ourselves as well preach trust and love “.
He appealed to every party member to work together to win, come 2027 election, pointing out, that it will attract development from the Federal and the State government.

Sir Onyeme called on the media especially the social media handlers to verify information before publication.
He said media should not only publish negative information but also the positive things the government was doing.
“Let people know what government is doing positively, in our local government area. So many schools had been renovated and roads constructed among others”.
