THE police have arraigned a 19-Year-old man identified as ThankGod Nwafor, before an Asaba Magistrate Court on a four- count charge bordering on conspiracy and stealing of property valued at N11,435,000
Nwafor, residing at KM 2 Okpanam Road by Playlearn Junction, Asaba, allegedly conspired with others presently at large on 26th day of May, 2025 to commit misdemeanor to wit: malicious damage and thereby committed an offence punishable under section 517 of the Criminal Code Cap C21 Vol. 1 Laws of Delta state of Nigeria 2006.
On count three, the accused was alleged to have on the same date and time, in the aforementioned Magisterial District did break and enter the shop of with intent to steal in contravention Section 413 of the criminal Code Cap C21 Vol.1 Laws of Delta State of Nigeria 2006.
The accused on count four of charge sheet No. CMA/292c/2025, was alleged to have on the same date, place and in the Magisterial district, did steal items worth N11, 435,000, property of Mrs. Stella Obodo, contrary to section 390(9) of the Criminal Code Cap C21 Vol.1 Laws of Delta State of Nigeria 2006.
The count four states as follow; ‘’ That you THANKGOD NWANFOR ‘M’ on the same date, place and in the aforementioned Magisterial District did steal one studio 9 and studio 6 music playing value N1,700,000, six pieces of apple Ipad value N9,600,000 and nine pieces Boxer value N135,000 property belonging to Mrs. Stella Obodo and thereby Committed an offence punishable under section offence punishable under Section 390(9) of the Criminal Code Cap C21 Vol. I Laws of Delta State of Nigeria 2006.’’
