Group Lauds Anoka’s Commitment To Ndokwa Development

BY SAM DUVWODE

A grassroots movement, Team Robo Anoka for Sheriff/Onyeme, has commended the Delta State Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Renewal, Hon Michael Anoka, for his dedication to the development of the Ndokwa nation.

The group, led by Mrs Robo Anoka, in a message, commended the commissioner for his efforts to transform the Ndokwa region from a collection of overlooked communities into a thriving hub of progress.

Speaking to newsmen, Mrs Anoka, the principal of the team, recounted how the commissioner’s support has been instrumental in rallying community spirits.

According to her, “Even as Christmas lights twinkled across villages and carols echoed through the humid air, Hon Anoka refused to pause his mission, channelling resources into infrastructure projects that promised brighter futures for families gathered around holiday feasts.”

“Years of commitment powered by Governor Oborevwori’s MORE Agenda have seen Hon Anoka spearhead the construction of modern roads and bridges, connecting remote Ndokwa villages to essential services and markets.

“His vision for urban renewal breathed new life into dilapidated structures, turning them into vibrant community centres where education and entrepreneurship could flourish.”

Amid the festivities, Team Robo Anoka for Sheriff/Onyeme appreciated Hon. Anoka’s collaboration in partnering with the grassroots movement to distribute essential supplies to vulnerable households.

“From food baskets brimming with yams and rice to educational kits for children, these initiatives not only alleviated immediate hardships but also fostered long-term growth in agriculture and youth empowerment.” Mrs Anoka stated.

She said, “Even on Christmas Eve, Hon. Anoka was seen inspecting a new solar-powered water project, his presence a reassuring reminder that Ndokwa’s development remained his top priority.”

She noted that the commissioner’s actions have continued to inspire the team to expand its advocacy, turning appreciation into action as they mobilised volunteers for cleanup drives and skill workshops, all under the umbrella of sustainable development.

“The entire Team Robo Anoka, united in their cause for Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and his Deputy, Sir Monday Onyeme, felt a profound gratitude to Hon. Anoka’s relentless drive, as he balanced official duties with personal visits to Ndokwa families, offering guidance on land planning and eco-friendly building practices.” Mrs Anoka stated.

“As the New Year dawned over Ndokwa Nation, may the team’s prayers for Commissioner Anoka echoed with sincerity, may God grant him continued grace, strength, and success in all endeavours,’’ Mrs Anoka stated.
