The committee is chaired by Yobe State Governor, Hon Mai Mala Buni, and includes Governors AbdulRahman Abdul Razaq (Kwara), Hope Uzodimma (Imo), Hyacinth Alia (Benue), Uba Sani (Kaduna), Umar Namadi (Jigawa), Bassey Otu (Cross River), Abiodun Oyebanji (Ekiti) and Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori (Delta).

At the committee’s inauguration last December, Governor Buni said it would adopt strategic engagements and wide consultations to deliver inclusive and lasting solutions that give both old and new members, especially aggrieved ones, a renewed sense of belonging.

He added that the committee would also take proactive measures to address potential threats to party unity and urged members not to allow personal interests or sentiments to override the collective good.
