Focus on your studies, Ogedegbe Advices Matriculants, donates One Million Naira to Nursing School

The Executive Chairman of Ethiope East Local Government Area, Delta State, Hon. Chief Augustine Ogedegbe (JP) has told the newly admitted students of St. Francis Catholic School of Nursing in Okpara Inland in Ethiope East Local Government Area to be focused and committed to their studies, just as he donated the sum of One Million Naira to the Nursing School Authority.

The chairman made the statement and the donation during the recent Maiden Matriculation ceremony of the school in Okpara Inland.

He told the students to be focus and dedicated to their studies so as to make their parents proud on completion of their studies.

The Chairman in his words said “stay dedicated to your education and make your family proud”

In her commendation, he described the establishment of the college as a great achievement made by the community, noting that it would spur the hope of healthcare development in the council area.

Ogedegbe call on the people of the community to always support and protect the institution “This is a place of learning and for it to grow and thrive, we need peace, co-operation and unity” he added.

In the same vein, the Local Government Boss praised the provost of the college, Mrs. Elizabeth Oyibocha for her efforts in management of the school which saw the maiden matriculation ceremony.

The Executive Chairman made a donation of One Million naira on behalf of the Local Government Council to the college.

Reacting to the visit, the provost expressed excitement and gratitude for the attendance and donation made by the Chairman, pledging unalloyed support of the college authority to his administration in the council area.
