The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has revealed that there are five powerful people behind terrorism in Nigeria.
In a statement signed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, Primate Ayodele said if the five powerful individualise are not ‘taken out of the way’, the nation will continue to be at the mercy of terrorists.
He emphasized that the Federal Government needs to work more effectively to end insecurity because those behind it are not slowing down.
“Only five persons are involved in the series of abductions. My advice to government is to quickly identify and take them out of the way, otherwise, the country will continue to be at their mercy.”
The fiery cleric said President Tinubu should not negotiate with the abductors, no matter the situation. He called on him to call Sheikh Gumi to order because he is encouraging insecurity.
“Tinubu needs to caution people who encourage negotiation with bandits. People like Gumi shouldn’t be allowed to represent government for any reason.
“The more we negotiate, the more bandits are emboldened and Tinubu has everything to lose when bandits dictate terms. If he isn’t careful, they will continue to use insecurity against him.”
He further explained that negotiation has turned terrorism into a big business in the country, revealing that there is international influence in it and except the president works really hard, he will not be able to end it.
“If you don’t do the needful, terrorism will fight your government, it’s not going to affect poor people alone, but the rich will also cry.”
