THE National Association of Seadogs (Pyrates Confraternity), Vito Corsica Deck, is set to host its highly anticipated 2025 Feast of Barracuda (FoB) lecture on Saturday, June 14, at the NAS Anchor Point, Asaba, Delta State.
The annual event, renowned for fostering critical dialogue on national issues, promises to be a highlight on the intellectual calendar for the Aniocha/Oshimili and Ika federal constituencies.
This year’s Feast of Barracuda is themed around developing practical solutions to Nigeria’s most pressing governance challenges. The event aims to spark meaningful discussions that can shape policy and leadership at both state and national levels.
Member representing Oshimili South Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Bridget Anyafulu, will serve as the distinguished chairperson, emphasizing the importance of collaboration and dialogue in addressing the country’s governance challenges.
Key lectures at this year’s event include: “How Political Defections in Nigeria Impede the Accumulation of Strategic Management Experience in Government,” to be presented by the Vice Chancellor , Denis Osadebe University, Professor Ben Oghojafor
“The Influence of Fiscal Autonomy on Good Governance at the Local Level in Delta State,” will be delivered by, Executive Chairman, Oshimili South Local Government Area, Dr. Ezenyili Obi.
Following the lectures, an engaging discussion session will feature Dr. Egondu Ikeatu, lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Admiralty University of Nigeria, Delta State (lead discussants)
Dr. Enemhinye Ehigiator, a highly respected legal and management consultant (Alternate lead discussants) Rev. Fr. Kevin EF, a respected clergy and community leader.
