DELTA State Commissioner for Works (Rural and Riverine Roads), Mr. Charles Aniagwu, will on today (Wednesday December 4), flag-off major roads and bridge projects to be constructed by the chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Comrade Agbateyiniro Weyinmi.
While the flagging off of the Old UCC Road and Mosque Road in Igbudu Market, will commence by 10.00am, the official inauguration of the sixty-meter Agbeyi Avenue/Ugbomeji Bridge at Ifiekporo Community, is scheduled for 12noon same day.
The Head of Works Department in Warri South Local Government Area, Engr. Tetsola Tuoyo Greggory, explained to Delta State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Prince Kelly Kalamana Penawou, during inspection of projects executed by the Agbateyiniro administration, that soil testing for the sixty-meter bridge at Ifie-Kporo, was already conducted, adding that the Council intends to flag-off “the legacy project this December.”
