“I wish to express our profound gratitude to His Excellency, Rt. Hon. (Elder) Sheriff F.O. Oborevwori, the Governor of Delta State for the political will and support, which has boosted our confidence in revenue drive.

“Again the visible infrastructure projects executed by His Excellency, the Governor across the three Senatorial Districts of the State and the security and peace building efforts have attract- ed a lot of investments to the State and engendered the culture of voluntary tax compliance in line with the provisions of extant Laws”, he said.

The executive chairman appreciated the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Commissioners for Finance, Economic Planning, the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, as well as the Permanent Secretary cum Accountant-General of the state for their administrative supports, which he noted was instrumental to the remarkable success.

“I am immensely grateful to the members of the Board of Delta State Internal Revenue Service, the Executive Directors, Management and staff of the Service for culture of collaboration and teamwork, hard work and dedication, which have paid off in terms of increased IGR collections since we took over the business of revenue generation in the month of July, 2023.
