THE CEO and Co-Founder of Delta Startups, Charles Omordia has been honoured at the Made in Nigeria Excellence Awards 2025, a prestigious national event that celebrates innovation, resilience, and outstanding contributions to Nigeria’s growth through locally driven impact.
The recognition shines a spotlight on the transformative work being done by Delta Startups to cultivate a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem across Delta State and beyond. The organization has become a beacon for youth empowerment, digital skills development, and grassroots innovation in Nigeria’s startup space.
In his remarks, Omordia noted that the award marked a significant milestone for Delta Startups, underscoring its rising influence in Nigeria’s innovation landscape and the growing recognition of Delta State as a hub for creative and tech-driven growth.
He emphasized that the award represents a collective effort. “This national recognition highlights not just personal achievements, but the collective mission of Delta Startups to accelerate entrepreneurship, foster digital skills, and create a thriving startup ecosystem for youth and creators across Delta State and Nigeria.” He added:
“We believe that the next wave of world-class innovation will rise from Africa, and we’re proud to be laying that foundation with bold programs, community hubs, and strategic partnerships. To every founder, developer, innovator, and youth we serve—this award is for you. Let’s keep building, together”, he said.
Omordia affirmed that Delta Startups mission was to empower the next generation of changemakers through innovative technologies across the state.
