Delta NASME Showcases Capacity Of SMEs At 2025 Conference/Exhibition

Small and medium enterprises in Delta State gathered recently for the 2025 Annual State Conference and Exhibition organized by the Nigerian Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (NASME), Delta State chapter.

The colourful event was in line with NASME’s motto which is “Empowering small businesses, driving big successes.”

The event tagged “Leveraging on Technology for Business Growth and Expansion (Digital Marketing), held at Government House, Asaba from 29-30 October, bringing together entrepreneurs, investors and government representatives to discuss strategies for supporting small and medium enterprises through innovation and technology.

Featuring exhibition of Made in Delta State goods and services, business networking, panelist session and empowerment, among others, the conference/exhibition began with an opening address by the NASME Delta State Chairperson, Lady Judith Ojevwe Nwachukwu.

She highlighted the association’s commitment to empowering local entrepreneurs, while various speakers, including business experts and government officials, spoke on topics, such as funding opportunities, digital transformation and export promotion.

Speakers included Chief Afam Obiago, a business strategist and Mrs. Nkem Imarue, founder and CEO of Freash Start Interior and Exterior Design , both of whom delivered insightful presentations on how businesses can use Artificial Intelligence (AI), e-commerce and digital marketing to boost performance and profit.

An exhibition followed, where several SMEs showcased their locally made products, ranging from fashion items to agricultural innovations. Attendees had the opportunity to network, exchange ideas and explore potential business partnerships.

During the 2025 NASME Annual State Conference and Exhibition, participants were enjoined to embrace creativity, technology and collaboration for business growth.

A diverse audience, including entrepreneurs, investors, industry experts and government representatives, engaged in discussions on the strategic role of technology in enhancing the growth and expansion of small and medium enterprises.

Lady Judith Ojevwe Nwachukwu emphasized Delta NASME’s unwavering commitment to empowering local entrepreneurs through technology, innovation and capacity-building. Her speech set the tone for an insightful and impactful session.

For the participants, it served as an avenue for visibility, product promotion and strategic networking.

In her closing remarks, Lady Judith Ojevwe Nwachukwu appreciated all participants, speakers and exhibitors. Sponsors and partners included the Delta State Government, Bank of Industry (BOI), SMEDAN, Bank of Agriculture.
