A five – Man Committee on Dress Code for civil servants has officially presented a report to the Head of Service of Delta State, Dr (Mrs.) Mininim Oseji in Asaba.
Receiving the report, the Head of Service commended the committee for a job well done and promised to ensure that civil servants adhere to ethical conduct as it relates to dress code policy in the workplace.
The report, which terms of reference include, amongst other things, to develop, view and update new dress code for civil servants in the state revealed that workers are expected to dress in a way that reflects professionalism, respect and dignity of the civil service.
The Chairman of the committee, Mrs Charity Ehimen commended the HOS for the confidence reposed in them and assured that due diligence was followed while compiling the report as it was duly signed by all members of the Committee.
The committee had Mrs. Charity Ehimen as the Chairman while Mrs Oghenekevwe Agas, Barr Omamuzo Erebe, Prince Gregory Ejohwomu as members, and Mrs Felicia Orugbo as Secretary.
