Delta Central APC Passes Confidence Vote On Tinubu, Shettima, Oborevwori

ElderS and leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta Central Senatorial District, have passed vote of confidence on President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu,  his Vice, Kashim Shettima, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and Senator Ovie Omo-Agege for leadership style.

The epoch-making meeting of the respected APC stalwarts was to deliberate on the future  of the party in the State .  They expressed unanimous confidence in the national leadership of APC and the Deputy Senate President of the 8th Assembly, Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege.  They bfurther  reaffirmed the unity and strategic direction of the party in Delta Central.

The forum expressed profound admiration for the exemplary leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, commending his visionary policies, strategic reforms, and remarkable achievements in infrastructural development and human capital growth.

The Forum expressed satisfaction with the national leadership of APC, lauded them for their unwavering commitment to making the Party a robust and formidable force poised for electoral victory in 2027, passed a vote of confidence on the National Chairman, Dr. Umar Ganduje, and members of the National Working Committee of APC.

In a unanimous decision, the forum passed a vote of implicit confidence on the Deputy Senate President of the 9th Senate and the 2023 governorship candidate of the party, His Excellency Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, for his outstanding leadership, strategic vision, and monumental achievements that have catapulted the party to unprecedented heights in Delta State.

The forum urged the National Leadership of APC and the Presidency to accord His Excellency Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, his due recognition and honour, given his unparalleled support and widespread influence among Party members in Delta State.

In a communiqué issued at the end of the meeting, the leaders extended a warm welcome to former members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) who have defected to the APC.

The forum urged new entrants to promptly register at their respective wards and called on ward and local government executives to ensure a smooth and inclusive integration process.

The communiqué was signed by 25 notable party leaders across the eight local government areas of Delta Central, including the meeting’s convener, Chief (Dr.) Obiuwevbi Ominimini.
