Emphasizes Mandatory Training for Believers

THE Founder, Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo, has reiterated that the end-time church is ordained by God to operate as a spiritual army equipped to break limits, conquer territories, and manifest uncommon exploits for Christ.
Speaking during the evening session on the second day of the Shiloh 2025, live broadcast monitored at the Asaba branch of the church, Bishop Oyedepo referenced Joel chapter 2 verses 3, 11, noting that the bible described a mighty, disciplined and unstoppable army as a prophetic picture of the end-time church.
According to him, the church of this generation is “an army of saints, a generation of record breakers trained to excel and take territories for Christ.”
He stressed that training remains the culture of every effective military force, explaining that no one rises to command without first submitting to rigorous preparation.
“It’s not enough to have weapons; the weapons must be proven. What you preach does not matter as much as what comes out of your hands. Don’t follow results; follow the steps that produce them,” he said.
Quoting Micah chapter 4 verse 2, he added that the end-time church will be known for “making waves,” but only those who embrace training as a lifestyle will fully experience these prophetic manifestations.
Bishop Oyedepo emphasized that training was indispensable for a triumphant Christian life.
“Nothing of value is free. Anytime you see a result, find out what is behind it. You can’t get there if you don’t follow the steps. Training turns trash into treasure,” he stated.
