APC Moves To Strengthen Unity, Devt In Delta Community

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ewu has convened an enlarged meeting to strengthen the unity and development in the area.

The meeting was put together by Chief Edjuto Efeviroro, in collaboration with party leaders and stakeholders across the three federal wards of Ewu.

The meeting, which drew a large turnout, was aimed at fostering unity and reinforcing grassroots political structures for the growth and development of the Ewu communities.

In their various remarks, leaders including Hon. Ambrose Oyovwe, Hon Francis Aguonigho, Chief Vincent Oduaran, Hon. Josephine Oduaran, Mr Charles Buluku and Chief Emmanuel Ejenake emphasized the need for stronger bonds within the APC family in Ewu. They underscored unity as a key factor in attracting greater development to the area.

Also present were notable ward chairmen and grassroots mobilizers: Pst. Edewor Ogedegbe, Godwin Omote (Chairman, APC Ewu Ward 1), Omonikeme Andrew (Chairman, Ward 2), Victor Akemor (Chairman, Ward 3), and the respected party elder, Papa Lagos Eruemu.

They collectively commended the Executive Chairman of Ughelli South, Hon. (Dr.). Lucky Avweromre, for his remarkable developmental strides in the area.

In his address, Pst. Ogedegbe lauded the ongoing NIN Registration Initiative facilitated by Hon. Dr. Avweromre.

He stressed the importance of National Identification Numbers (NIN) for accessing federal, state, and local government programs. “Our brothers and sisters in the remote villages still lack valid identification.

This project is noble and must be supported by all,” he stated.

Responding, Hon. (Dr.) Lucky Avweromre expressed gratitude for the turnout and reaffirmed his commitment to the development of the Ewu political bloc.

He pledged to continue aligning with the MORE Agenda of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, Governor of Delta State, in delivering people-oriented projects.

He further called on the good people of Ewu to maintain their unwavering support for the administration of Rt. Hon. Oborevwori and that of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, assuring that more developmental programs will reach Ewu and Ughelli South at large.
