Akpoveta, Obidi Celebrate Oborevwori’s Double Honour, Devt Strides

The leadership of Delta State Contributory Health Commission (DSCHC) has celebrated the recent Awards of Governor of the year on Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori by two national newspapers.

The Executive Board Chairman of the DSCHC, Dr Austin Obidi, in collaboration with the Director-General of the Commission, Olorogun Dr. Isaac Akpoveta said the recognition was a confirmation of the governor’s focus leadership and development strides.

Dr Obidi, a leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State, described the award as well-deserved considering and his determination to uplift the state.

In an interview at his Ibusa country home, Obidi said that Deltans were not surprised with the governor’s recognition, adding it was a proof of a visionary and impactful leader’s unwavering commitment towards socio-economic development of communities across the state.

They revealed further that the success recorded so far in the state by the health commission in reaching out to Deltans can be attributed to the love and commitment of the governor.

The leaders added that the gesture of the governor had yielded results and brought hope, especially to the less privileged of the society who before now could not afford healthcare due to lack of funds.

They urged Deltans to avail themselves of the commission’s health care services to maintain their health and reminded them to obtain their PVCs to enable them cast their votes for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori for next tenure.
